Wecome to this site about 3TP Prostate cancer

The prostate gland is an important part of the sex organs of the male. The prostate gland is mistakenly known as the prostrate gland. Its most primary role is to first produce and then store a transparent liquid that is a vital part of semen. A non-diseased human's prostate is somewhat larger than a walnut. The prostate gland surrounds the urethra underneath the bladder. It is situated in front of the rectum and part of it can be felt during the course of a rectal evaluation.

Inflammation of the prostate is a gland that is referred to as prostatitis. If the prostate gets too enlarged it can hinder urine flow, making urination difficult and painful and in extreme situations totally impassable. Prostatitis can be treated with antibiotic prescription drugs, massage of the prostate or even surgery.

In older-aged men, the prostate may grow to the point where urination is difficult. This is known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, commonly termed BPH. It can be treated with different types of medicinal drugs or with even surgery that removes part of the prostate. One commonplace surgery used in such cases is called transurethral resection of the prostate (TUR or TURP).

Cancer of the prostate is one of the most common cancers to strike elderly males and a leading cause of death. Consistent rectal exams are highly recommended to detect prostate cancer early. There can be also a blood evaluation that will measure the amount of a protein, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), which is, in normal men, very low. Elevated test results may be an indicator of disorder in the prostate, whether prostatitis, benign hyperplasia or a cancerous prostate. The PSA blood test cannot distinguish between them, but can be grounds for your physician to investigate more. Prostate cancer is treated with hormonal manipulation (preventing testosterone production), radiation or even surgical procedures. It has recently been found that drugs such as Docetaxel are effective in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Stimulating the prostate in men is typically compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can lead to more powerful experience of orgasm. Prostate massage or milking refers to massaging motions of the prostate either for clinical or for strictly sexual fulfillment.
