Welcome. Here is a site about having sex after prostate surgery
The prostate is a gland that is part of the sex organs of the male. The prostate is mistakenly known as the prostrate gland. The prostate gland's most important job is to produce and then store a transparent liquid that is a vital part of semen (seminal fluid). A sound human prostate is slightly bigger in size than a shelled walnut. It surrounds the urethra underneath the urinary bladder. It is also located in front of the rectum and a portion of it can be felt during the course of a rectal examination.
Inflammation in the prostate is a gland that is referred to as prostatitis. If the prostate becomes too enlarged it can block the urine stream, making urination very painful and more difficult and in severe instances totally impassable. Prostatitis can often be treated with antibiotic drugs, prostate massage or even surgery.
In older-aged males, the prostate often enlarges to the point where urinating is difficult. This is called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It can be treated with prescription medications or with surgical measures that removes a component of the prostate. One common surgical procedure used in these types of cases is called transurethral prostate resection (TUR or TURP).
Prostate cancer is one of the most frequent cancers to strike older-aged men and a major cause of deaths. Consistent rectal exams are recommended to discover prostate cancer in the early stages. There can be also a laboratory blood test that measures the amount of a protein, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), which should normally be very low. Raised test results might signal disease within the prostate, whether prostatitis, bPH or a cancerous prostate. The PSA test cannot distinguish between them, but can be a reason for a doctor to investigate more thoroughly. Prostate cancer is treated with hormonal manipulation (preventing testosterone production), radiation or surgical measures. It has recently been observed that drugs including Docetaxel could be effective in the treatment of a cancerous prostate.
Stimulating the prostate in males is typically compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can lead to more powerful orgasm. Prostate massage or milking refers to massaging motions of the prostate whether for clinical value or strictly for sexual fulfillment.
