Here is a site about how does the prostrate work
The prostate is a gland that is part of the male sex organs. It is mistakenly called the prostrate. The prostate's most significant function is to first secrete and then store a transparent fluid that is a component of seminal fluid (semen). A healthy man's prostate gland is somewhat larger than a shelled walnut. The prostate gland surrounds the urethra underneath the urinary bladder. It is also situated in front of the rectal area and part of it can be felt during the normal course of a rectal exam or evaluation.
Inflammation in the prostate is a gland that is known as prostatitis. If the prostate becomes enlarged it can hinder urine flow, making urination painful and difficult and in very severe instances entirely impossible. Prostatitis can often be treated with antibiotic drugs, prostate massage or even operations.
In older men, the prostate can grow to the point where urination becomes difficult or impossible. This is commonly known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, commonly termed BPH. It can be treated with different types of medicines or with operations that removes a component of the prostate. One very typical operation used in such cases is called transurethral prostate resection (TURP or TUR).
Prostatic gland cancer is one of the most commonplace cancers affecting elderly men and a leading cause of dying. Regular rectal exams are recommended to find prostate cancer before it spreads. There can be also a laboratory blood test that can measure the concentration of a protein, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), which is, in normal men, very low. Elevated test results may suggest disease inside the prostate, whether prostatitis, benign hyperplasia or cancer. The PSA blood test cannot distinguish between these conditions, but can be grounds for your doctor to investigate more thoroughly. Prostate cancer is treated with hormonal manipulation (preventing testosterone production), radiation or surgery. It has just recently been observed that medications including Docetaxel can be effective in the treatment of cancer.
Stimulating the prostate in males is typically compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can cause more powerful sexual climax. Prostate massage or milking refers to massage of the prostate whether for medical value or strictly for sexual purposes.
