The prostate is a vital component of the masculine sex organs. The prostate is mistakenly known as the prostrate gland. Prostate cancer is treated with hormonal manipulation (prevention of production of testosterone), radiation or even surgical procedures. It has only recently been noticed that medications like Docetaxel could be effective in the treatment of a cancerous prostate.
