Welcome. Here is a site about metastatic inoperable prostate cancer

The prostate gland is a vital part of the masculine sex organs. The prostate gland is mistakenly called the prostrate gland. Its main job is to secrete and store a clear fluid that is part of semen (seminal fluid). A sound human prostate gland is a little bit bigger than a walnut. The prostate gland surrounds the urethra below the bladder. It is positioned in front of the rectum and part of it can be felt during the course of a rectal examination.

Inflammation in the prostate gland is termed prostatitis. If the prostate grows too much in size it can obstruct the flow of urine, making urination very painful and difficult and in very extreme situations entirely impassable. Prostatitis can be treated with antibiotic prescription drugs, prostate massage or even operations.

In elderly males, the prostate may grow to the point where urinating becomes difficult or impossible. This is named bPH or benign prostatic hyperplasia. It can be treated with different types of medication or with surgical measures that removes a component of the prostate. One very typical operation used in these types of cases is called transurethral resection of the prostate (TUR or TURP).

Prostatic cancer is one of the most common cancers that affects older-aged males and a leading cause of dying. Consistent rectal exams are highly recommended to pick up prostate cancer early. There is also also a blood test that measures the amount of a protein, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), which should normally be very low. Elevated pSA blood results can indicate a disorder within the prostate, either prostatitis, bPH or cancer. The PSA blood test cannot distinguish between these conditions, but can be a reason for a physician to investigate with additional tests. Prostate cancer is treated with hormone manipulation (prevention of production of testosterone), radiation or even surgical measures. It has just recently been found that drugs like Docetaxel may be helpful in the treatment of a cancerous prostate.

Stimulation of the prostate in men has been compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can lead to more powerful sexual climax. Prostate massage or milking refers to massage of the prostate either for medical value or strictly sexual fulfillment.
