Welcome. Here is a site about prostate cancer symptom back

The prostate gland is an important part of the male sex organs. It is mistakenly called the prostrate, rather than prostate. The prostate's primary job is to secrete and store a transparent liquid that is an important part of seminal fluid or semen. A normal individual's prostate is a little bit larger than a walnut. It surrounds the urethra just below the urinary bladder. It is located in front of the rectum and a portion of it can be felt during the rectal exam.

Inflammation of the prostate is a gland that is known as prostatitis. If the prostate grows enlarged it can block urine flow, making urination very painful and difficult and in very severe cases completely impossible. Prostatitis can usually be treated with antibiotic prescription medications, massage of the prostate or operations.

In older men, the prostate can grow to the point where urinating is difficult. This is referred to as bPH or benign prostatic hyperplasia. It can be treated with the use of prescription medications or with even surgery that removes part of the prostate. One commonplace surgery used in such cases is called transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP or TUR).

Cancer of the prostate is one of the most common cancers to affect older-aged males and a leading cause of deaths. Regular rectal exams are medically recommended to discover prostate cancer in the early stages. There is also also a laboratory blood test that will measure the amount of a protein, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), which is, in normal men, quite low. Raised pSA blood results may be an indicator of disorder inside the prostate, whether prostatitis, benign hyperplasia or cancer. The PSA test cannot distinguish between these conditions, but can cause a physician to investigate with further tests. Prostate cancer is treated with hormone manipulation (prevention of production of testosterone), radiation or surgical measures. It has only recently been noticed that medications including Docetaxel could be useful in treating a cancerous prostate.

Stimulating the prostate gland in males has been compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can cause more powerful orgasm. Prostate massage or milking refers to massage of the prostate either for clinical or for strictly sexual purposes.
