This site is about sex after then prostrate operation
The prostate is a gland that is a vital component of the male sexual organs. The prostate gland is mistakenly known as the prostrate, rather than prostate. The prostate gland's most significant job is to secrete and then store a see-through liquid that is an important part of seminal fluid. A sound human's prostate is somewhat bigger in size than a shelled walnut. It surrounds the urethra just below the bladder. It is situated in front of the rectum and part of it can be felt while undergoing a rectal exam or evaluation.
Inflammation in the prostate is a gland that is called prostatitis. If the prostate gets too enlarged it can jam up the urine stream, making urination painful and difficult and in very severe instances completely impossible. Prostatitis can be treated with antibiotics, prostate massage or even surgical procedures.
In elderly males, the prostate can enlarge to the point where urinating becomes difficult or impossible. This is termed benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH. It can be treated with the use of medicines or with operations that removes a component of the prostate. One common surgical procedure used in such cases is called transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP or TUR).
Cancer of the prostate gland is one of the most common cancers that affects older-aged men and a leading cause of dying. Regular rectal exams are highly recommended to discover prostate cancer early. There can be also a blood evaluation that can measure the concentration of a protein, PSA or Prostate Specific Antigen), which is, in normal men, very low. Elevated blood PSA results may indicate a disease inside the prostate, either prostatitis, benign hyperplasia or prostate cancer. The PSA blood test cannot distinguish between these conditions, but can lead a doctor to investigate with further tests. Prostate cancer is treated with hormone manipulation (preventing testosterone production), radiation or surgical measures. It has just recently been detected that medications like Docetaxel can be helpful in the treatment of cancer.
Stimulation of the prostate gland in males is often compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can cause more powerful experience of orgasm. Prostate massage or milking refers to massage of the prostate whether for medical value or strictly sexual purposes.
