The prostate is a vital part of the masculine sex organs. It is mistakenly known as the prostrate. Elevated pSA blood results could be an indicator of disorder in the prostate, either prostatitis, benign hyperplasia or a cancerous prostate. The PSA test cannot distinguish between them, but can cause your physician to investigate further. Prostate cancer is treated with hormonal manipulation (prevention of production of testosterone), radiation or surgical procedures. It has just recently been noticed that medicines including Docetaxel may be useful in the treatment of a cancerous prostate.

Stimulation of the prostate in men is frequently compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can result in a more powerful sexual climax. Prostate massage or prostate milking refers to massaging motions of the prostate either for clinical value or just for sexual fulfillment.
