This page is all about vascectomy prostate cancer
The prostate is a gland that is an important part of the male sexual organs. The prostate gland is mistakenly known as the prostrate, rather than prostate. The prostate gland's most primary job is to secrete and then store a transparent liquid that is an important part of seminal fluid (semen). A healthy human prostate is slightly greater in size than a shelled walnut. It surrounds the urethra beneath the bladder. It is also positioned in front of the rectal area and a portion of it can be felt while undergoing the rectal examination.
Inflammation of the prostate is a gland that is referred to as prostatitis. If the prostate grows enlarged it can block the flow of urine, making urination very painful and more difficult and in very extreme situations entirely impossible. Prostatitis can usually be treated with antibiotic medications, prostate massage or operations.
In older men, the prostate often enlarges to the point where urination becomes difficult. This is referred to as bPH or benign prostatic hyperplasia. It can be treated with the use of medicines or with operations that removes part of the prostate. One commonplace surgery used in such cases is called transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP or TUR).
Prostate cancer is one of the most frequent cancers to strike older men and a leading cause of death. Consistent rectal exams are highly recommended to uncover prostate cancer in the early stages. There is also also a blood evaluation that can measure the amount of a protein, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), which should normally be very low. Raised test results could be an indicator of disease inside the prostate, whether prostatitis, bPH or a cancerous prostate. The PSA test cannot distinguish between them, but can be grounds for a doctor to investigate more closely. Prostate cancer is treated with hormonal manipulation (preventing testosterone production), radiation or even surgical measures. It has just recently been discovered that medicines such as Docetaxel can be effective in treating a cancerous prostate.
Stimulation of the prostate in males has been compared to stimulation of the G spot in females because prostate stimulation can result in a more powerful experience of orgasm. Prostate massage or milking refers to massage of the prostate either for medical value or strictly for sexual fulfillment.
